Some of the places are highlighted below:
    Admiralty
The Admiralty building was originally built as a shipyard for the construction of warships and now is the main headquarters of the Navy. The Admiralty is one of the symbols of St. Petersburg.
    St. Isaac's Cathedral
St. Isaac's Cathedral is the largest Orthodox church and the most beautiful temple of St. Petersburg and also one of the main symbols of the city.
    Bronze Horseman
The Bronze Horseman on the Senate Square is not the only monument to Peter the Great in St. Petersburg, but is undoubtedly the most famous one and long ago has become a symbol of the Northern capital.
    Winter Palace (Hermitage museum)
The Winter Palace on Palace Square of St. Petersburg is the main attraction of the northern capital and served as the official winter residence of the Russian emperors from 1762 to 1904.
Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood
Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood is a memorial church erected to commemorate the tragic demise of Alexander II. The church stands on the place of the mortal wound of the Emperor. The walls and vaults of the temple are covered with a solid mosaic carpet - it is more than 7 thousand square meters!
    Singer House
The "Singer"company had become incredibly rich in the beginning of the 20th century, built herself an office skyscraper in Manhattan and decided to build a similar building in the capital of the Russian Empire.
    Kazan Cathedral
The majestic cathedral was built in honor of the Kazan miraculous icon of the Mother of God - the one that was preserved during the fire in Kazan and which was found 25 years after the takeover of this city by Ivan the Terrible.
    Eliseef Emporium
Unlike many historical buildings in St. Petersburg, that by the will of fate changed their purpose, Eliseevsky has always been always a shop. And now its trading rooms look exactly the same as they looked in 1902, when it was just opened.
